BLS acting as Town Planning Consultants have successfully obtained planning permission for the removal of holiday occupancy conditions involving some 32 holiday cottages at the Carvynick Resort near Summercourt, Newquay.   The Carvynick Resort had a complex planning history and BLS advised on the planning strategy and planning policies issues together with undertaking the financial viability assessment which accompanied the planning applications. 

The removal of the holiday occupancy conditions will enable significant further investment in upgrading the Carvynick Resort and to provide improved visitor accommodation and benefit the local economy.  The planning permissions were granted subject to a strict estate management regime aimed at maintaining the holiday character of the development and subject to a S106 agreement.
