BLS have successfully obtained planning permission for the proposed expansion and upgrading of the Nare Hotel on the Roseland Peninsula. The planning application was a hybrid part detailed and part outline which provided an holistic approach to the future development strategy for the Nare, taking into account the environmental sensitivity of the location being in the AONB. Working with the consultant team, BLS undertook the preparation and submission of the planning application including the co-ordination and preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment.
The project represents a £10m investment in upgrading one of Cornwall's top hotels and will have significant benefit to the local economy.
