From the 1st September 2020, the permitted B1, Use Class has been changed to the new Use Class E, which now permits retail, sale of food and drink, financial services, indoor sport and recreation, medical or health services, crèche or nursery, office use, research and development and light industrial.  Planning permission within these uses classes are no longer required.
