Business Location Services Ltd have successfully obtained detailed planning permission for a new retail store on the edge of Fowey on behalf of Westcountry Land (Kenwyn) Ltd.  Cornwall Council's Central Planning Committee granted planning permission for the new store despite an objection from Fowey Town Council.  

The retail store comprised a total GIA of some 354 sqm and as with the whole of Fowey was within the designated AONB.  The new retail store will provide the town of Fowey with accessible retail facilities adn reduce the need for residents of the town to travel to nearby larger centres for their main shopping.
