BLS are pleased to announce that we have won another planning appeal against a refusal of planning permission by Cornwall Council.  Planning permission has been granted under the written appeal procedures for a development of 12 residential dwellings (7 affordable) on Land off School Hill, Mevagissey.  The planning application despite being recommended for approval by the Council's Planning Officers was refused by the Council's Central Planning Committee.  The application site, as with the whole of Mevagissey, lies within the designated AONB and in allowing the appeal the Inspector acknowledged the need for open market and affordable housing in the village.
