Landmark Planning Decision Relating to Holiday Occupancy Restricted Development in Cornwall
BLS have successfully obtained planning consent for the lifting of the holiday occupancy condition in respect of the development of 55 holiday lodges at the award winning resort destination of Gwel-an-Mor, Portreath on the North Cornwall Coast. Acting on behalf of Landish Developments (Feadon Farm) Ltd, BLS undertook the planning application submission and financial viability assessment.
Planning permission has now been granted for permanent residential occupation of the 55 lodges, which has enabled further investment in tourism and leisure facilities at Gwel-an-Mor. The planning consent represents a significant planning precedent for holiday developments, which have stalled or are undeliverable as a result of holiday occupancy planning conditions.
