Business Location Services Ltd, acting on behalf of Acorn Blue, have successfully secured planning consent for the redevelopment of the landmark former Riviera Hotel site at Lusty Glaze, Newquay.

The proposal involved the demolition of the existing hotel and the erection of a 7 storey 36 residential apartment block, together with 9 houses. Working with Stride Treglown Architects, BLS undertook the preparation and submission of the planning application, together with the financial viability assessment. BLS undertook the negotiations in respect of the Section 106, together with the level of on-site affordable housing provision and off-site financial contributions to highway and education infrastructure.
